Tolorunlogo Akinrinola is a Nigerian Canadian artist who resides in the Ottawa-Gatineau region.
His photography journey started in 2017 with the founding of Tolo Images while completing his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Neuroscience at the University of Toronto. His early photography influences derived from nature have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions across the GTA including a curated showcase at the Toronto Public Library Richview Branch and within the University of Toronto Scarborough campus.
In more recent work, the emerging photographer has shifted his focus to editorial portraiture and utilizes his personal experiences and experiences of those close to him as inspiration for exploring themes of mental health, spirituality and Black culture.
